Abstract

Annotation: the article discusses the essence of the category of modality in the scientific and pedagogical discourse. An analysis of varieties of objective and subjective modality allows students to formulate their statements correctly. attempts are being made to deepen and concretize ideas about the principles of the use of language by a person. In this regard, the interest of researchers to the problems of the author, the category of the author's modality, the linguistic personality, which at the moment remain important and not fully resolved problems of linguistics, is growing.
