Annotation: the article presents the creative way of Zhapak Shamuratov as a composer who made a great contribution to the development of the Karakalpak people’s musical culture, as well as the history of the music culture of the Karakalpak people, which, during the 20th century, had many new changes, besides theater arts, symphony orchestras, orchestra of folk musical instruments, dance ensemble, community choirs and features in the structure of the genre.
