Abstract

Annotation: This article deals with questions about history of establishment and development of Uzbek theater, as well as about activities of one of the producers who have contributed to the development of theater art in Uzbekistan E.Masofaev. While writing the article the author was based on records from diary of E.Masofaev, personal conversation materials, interviews with actors of the theater and with itself  E.Masofaev. Moreover, there were used archival materials, records of performance discussions.
