Abstract

The article contains the results of the research in Medicine. The serum concentration of pro-inflammatory IL-8 and IL-17 cytokines in patients with phlegmonous and gangrenous appendicitis were studied. It has been established that a more pronounced increase in the level of IL-8 (24 fold). The IL-17 concentration increased 2 times as compared with controls. It has not been identified changes depending on the concentration of IL-17 and IL-8 on the complexity of the destructive inflammatory process.
