Agent-based Approach as a Tool for Studying the Effect of the Mentality Factor in the Economic Growth Dynamics

Abstract


Key words: economic mentality, agent-based modeling, economic growth.

 

Annotation: The possibility to use the agent-based modeling method in the study of the impact of mental factors on the dynamics of economic growth is considered. A multi-agent model of economic growth that takes into account differences in the behavior of economic agents is developed and a method for determining its parameters proposed. Using this model the decrease of the rate of economic growth and raise of unemployment as a function of the capital outflow is estimated.
