Abstract


In this paper, a comparison of the mechanisms of thermal decomposition in air and superheated water vapor Mg(NO3)2×6H2O. Found that the decomposition of water vapor accompanied by less energy. In this case, it is possible to capture nitrous gases and return leaching agent (nitric acid) at the initial stage of processing of raw materials - oxidized nickel ore. The final product of decomposition is magnesium oxide.
