Generator of Turbine Engine Power Station

Andrey S. Martyanov

Abstract

An article describes an application of permanent magnet synchronous generator with axial magnetic flux in turbine engine power station. There is a compare between offered solution and permanent magnet synchronous machine with radial magnetic flux which shows improved efficiency, cost of unit and ability to build a generator family with different power rate based on axial magnetic flux machine.
