The impact of the Russian Impire state policy on the activities of the religious educational institutions in the XVIII – XIX centuries
Abstract
Development of church-state relations in the sphere of spiritual education and training, since the times of Peter, when the Orthodox Church has lost an independent position. Further reform of religious education during the reign of Alexander I and Nicholas I, was an attempt to apply the principles of reform secular school in the School of Spiritual under Alexander II. Overcoming survivals and rigid theological school is closed during church reform undertaken in the early 20th century.
