Optimization of Territorial Structure of Rural Municipalities under the Conditions of Competitive Environment Formation.

Abstract


The article refers to the improving of territorial structure of rural municipalities under the new economic conditions. The necessity of achieving and maintaining a decent quality of life of local communities requires a search of new tools of territorial development from their local authorities. Municipal marketing turns out to be one of such possibilities. In combination with the optimization of the rural settlements’ territories, it can become an effective tool for the ensuring the municipalities’competitiveness.
