The Use of Critical Thinking Development Technology within the Cultural Approach to Foreign Language Teaching

Abstract


The article considers the problem of critical thinking development in cultural studies approach to foreign language teaching. The structure of educational technology of critical thinking development is logical as its stages correspond to the natural stages of cognitive activity of the person. Priority in the work of a foreign language teacher is given to the methods of indirect pedagogical impact: dialogical methods of communication, joint search for truth, the development through the creation of parenting situations, various creative activities.
